Mich Sako: DGG is a matter of the heart for me!

9.3.2022

DGG will soon celebrate its first birthday. How do you perceive the project so far and has it fulfilled your expectations?

Crazy, how the time flies (laughs). For me personally, DGG has been a matter of the heart since the first time I came up with the idea. To be completely honest, I didn't even believe that we would do so well and that practically everything would work out as we wished or even better. So far, I am extremely satisfied and I hope that we will improve collectively.

What is your role in the team?

My work primarily revolves around the organizational issues of creating content. I deal with all player requests and comments, photography, video shooting, I take care of Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitch... And I could go on and on, there's a lot and that's the best thing for me personally. It fulfills me to work a lot and under pressure, so this position is perfect for me when it is still in the field of esports, which is close to me. Just a blast! (laughs)

But in addition to DGG management, you're also actively creating YouTube videos and streaming. How do you put it all together?

Yeah, and I am graduating from high school (laughs). It's certainly not easy, but like I said, I like to work under pressure. I think it's a lot about time management, which I would dare to say I have at a very high level. Calendars, task manager and similar functions have become an integral part of my life and I certainly could not do it without them. Anyway, I believe that if you want to, you can.

What are your personal ambitions with DGG?

We would certainly like to interfere even more with the absolute top of the CZ/SK scene in FIFA, NHL and Rocket League. As I mentioned before, we are happy at the moment, but there is room for improvement (as always) and that is exactly what we want to focus on. At the same time, we want to be among the global leaders in Dota and CS:GO, where our ambitions are much higher and I believe that we will fulfill them. Personally, I also want to focus on upgrading the content we put on social networks and the web so that we do not stay at one place.

Which section is your favorite?

I'm definitely closest to FIFA and Rocket League because I play both of these games myself. But I like to turn on the other sections, I watch Kuba's NHL regularly and lately I've been devouring CS:GO, which I used to play before and watch how good our guys are at it... What a joy! I haven't really understood Dota yet, I've never played the game, so I have to get into it so I can watch it and cheer!

You used to play CS:GO?

Yeah, I really used to (laughs). I had a Gold Nova 4 rank in Wingman, that probably speaks for itself (laughs).

So we'll see you soon in our CS:GO line-up?

For sure (laughs). Fun aside, the guys from our CS:GO section are incredible. I'll probably stay with cheering and recreational gaming, I think that suits me better (laughs).
